From her pioneering work in active transportation to her heartfelt music that inspires communities to connect with the natural world, Linda’s life’s work is dedicated to the well-being of both people and the planet.

As an active transportation consultant, Linda has worked with communities nationwide, encouraging walking, cycling, and other eco-friendly modes of transport. She played an instrumental role in developing Florida’s Safe Routes to School program and the Florida Bicycle Program, which has become a national model. Linda’s professional journey includes a tenure as Florida DOT’s Traffic Safety Education Program Director and as an educator in the College of Design, Construction & Planning at the University of Florida, where she taught for over 20 years. After retiring in 2008, Linda has continued her impactful work as a consultant, speaker, and artist, bridging the gap between health, fitness, and environmental sustainability.

Now residing in Northeast Florida during the winter and North Carolina in the summer, Linda is available to travel for performances, educational talks, and consulting engagements. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, Linda continues to inspire positive change through music, education, and leadership.
